Isadore Hanson of Melrose pleaded guilty to violating state prohibition laws and was fined 160 dollars and sentenced to thirty days in the county jail. He is among seven offenders serving similar terms under Sheriff Mooney. The report notes 150 dollars and thirty days’ board as part of the sentence.
Judge Smith presides as locals like Hignight and Mrs Linder join Dillon visitors for Ashton Idaho dog derby. Ten teams with four to seven dogs raced through main streets amid thawing snow. Frank Barber from California, Ike Morehouse, and Misses Margaret Ryburn Ophelia Lloyd head to local events while Dr Molleur reports a seven pound baby boy born to Mr and Mrs Karl Hartwig at Relchle ranch.

Mrs. George Patrick and three children left Friday for southern California to join Mr. Patrick, who found work there and plans to make a new home. In Butte, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bassette traveled Monday afternoon as Mrs. Bassette entered Murray hospital for an operation.
D A Galt returns from Minneapolis Auto Show and reports strong demand in Beaverhead County. He cannot fill all orders and has a long waiting list. To handle growth, he plans to erect a handsome new business block adjoining the current Beaverhead Motors establishment on a good site in Montana.
