Sleeping Car Comfort Advances on Southwest Limited
The Chicago, Milwaukee and St Paul Railway has introduced a new feature for its sleeping cars on the Southwest Limited from Chicago to Kansas City. White counterpanes replace the heavy woolen blankets, kept in reserve for cooler nights, promising greater comfort for travelers.

Storage charges on inbound and outbound freight begin Dec 1 1904
Effective December 1 1904 storage will be charged on all inbound freight unloaded on platform or in warehouse and on all outbound freight delivered on our platform or into warehouse without a bill of lading. Unloaded freight must be billed or removed within 72 hours after first 6 p m. Rates are five cents per ton per day with fractions counted as a ton and fractions of a day counted as a day. Minimum storage five cents per day for each consign ment under 2000 pounds.
