Hazelbaker named chair of Montana Senate economy committee
Senator Frank A. Hazelbaker is appointed chairman of the new Senate committee on economy legislation. The panel includes Harmon of Gallatin and Muffly of Broadwater. A separate special committee on state offices and departments is reporting savings aims of about 150000 for the next two years. The assembly also aims to cut costs by eliminating unnecessary offices.
