December 31 Highlights in 1952 53 Conservation Program
Farmers and ranchers must finish approved soil and water practices by December 31 to qualify for payment under the 1952 program. Jan 15 is the reporting deadline to the county PMA on 1952 completion. For 1953, December 31 remains the signing date for farm work sheets indicating participation. Committees urge participation and prioritize the most needed measures to accelerate soil and water conservation in the county.
