Monument Erected at Grave of Tommy Haw Pioneer of the Blacktail
A weathered grave marker for Tommy Haw, an Americanized Chinaman raised by Poindexter & Orr employees, gains a new monument funded by Mrs. Carter, Mr. Landon, and Mike Henneberry. Haw, famed as a rancher and cattleman, once helped arrest a cattle thief in the Virginia City district and testified in court, quipping about swearing to tell the truth.
