A vintage record shows a testimonial for Sargon Pills praising health boosts after years of indigestion poor circulation and low energy. The note cites a 64 year old Alaska trader and lists various local payments to laborers and suppliers as part of a government district meeting minutes from December 5 1929.
The Dillon area reports a man firing a shot to the heart. He had planned to leave town for Butte and had 16 years of ranch work in Beaverhead County. A Nebraska native, he left no identifiable relatives. Interment followed at Mountain View cemetery on Saturday.
County board proceedings list payments for old age pensions ranging from 0 to 25.60 with names such as James Smallhorn, B A Smith, Thomas M Smith, William M Smith, Ezra Thompson, Jessy Wade and F B Williams.
