Last Thursday in Dillon residents celebrated Bryan Day with flags on every building and dueling towers on the bandstand. Mrs Bryan and guests joined a reception committee, the Bryan party arrived by train amid cannon fire and cheering crowds, and Governor Smith and Senator Maudale were among the dignitaries. Bryan spoke briefly praising Montana and national unity on the silver issue, with a large turnout and enthusiastic reception by the crowd.
The Fair Association organized a board and fixed dates for the county fair. Officers chosen include Chas Ph Radley as president and Lesnard Rich as vice president with Gob Pad as treasurer. Efforts aim to arrange hotel and advertising for the event and coordinate exhibits and judging.
