VFW Auxiliary No. 3534 held its April 22 meeting at the Masens hall with Ruth Berthelson presiding. Dora Peterson installed officers including Cora Kluesner as president and Ruth Berthelson as secretary. Delegates to Havre in June are Ruth Berthelson and Ruby Weeks. alternates Clara Price and Margaret Empy. Poppy day set for May 22. other groups note upcoming meetings and sewing club activities.

Final registration for the primary is June 4 at 5 p.m. with other dates for state and county offices, initiative petitions, and general elections listed. The notice also outlines who must re register, including movers within the county and those whose registration lapsed after 1952.

It notes naturalized citizens must have been citizens for at least 45 days prior to election and advises contacting the county clerk and recorder for status and further information.
