Fetzer Arrested in Dynamite Plot Ties and Montana Fraud
Salt Lake City authorities report James W. Fetzer, jailed on Montana perjury charges, linked to a dynamite plot and a large stock bounty fraud scheme. Deputy Sheriff Cahoon and Detective Shatin led the arrest after evidence tied Fetzer to coyote scalp shipments and bounty claims, with details of an attempted explosion at a sister-in-law’s house discovered but failed due to a broken trigger. Fetzer claims insanity and past military discharge, while Montana officials prepare for a court hearing and potential habeas corpus challenges.
