They stayed overnight in Fargo and Grand Forks visiting friends. The trip averaged 31 miles per hour in the Ford with no incidents despite a severe rain shower between Fargo and Grand Forks. Elmer Engebretson Devils Lake Drag company manager has returned home and will spend his vacation in the land where he gained fame as the barefoot boy.
