New Episcopal Church Opens in Webster at St Clement's

The new stone chapel of St Clement's Episcopal Church in Webster opened with a full service led by Rev O F Jones and a surpliced choir directed by Prof Asherman. An excursion train from Starkweather to Devils Lake brought many attendees, and local residents contributed labor and funds. After refreshments served by area women, plans envision completing a transcription and tower with future bishopric services.

Strange calf with two heads and eight legs near Akra

Cavaliers Chronicle reports a remarkable calf born on Helgi Thorlakson s farm four miles northeast of Akra last Monday. The creature has two heads one normal and the other turned inward toward the left. It bears eight legs four in normal position and four projecting upward, and two tails.
