Rolla Republicans name Craix for House and Johnson for Senate
W A Craix a leading Rolla businessman is a Republican House nominee in the nineteenth district with strong local support. The ninth district nominates Mayor Johnson for the Senate and W D Allen and Thos Baker for the House. Some Fargo papers question Mayor Johnsons Republican record after he beat the regular nominee for mayor last spring. Devils Lake and Ramsey county appear slow to recognize the apparent positives. Agricultural and Driving association races were notably weak with three main events held in light turnout.
