Tragic Hatchet Attack Ends in Madness Near Wiliston
A brutal incident near Wiliston last Tuesday left a husband Alex Peters and his family grievously harmed. Peters attacked his wife and ten children with a hatchet, pursued the son, and ultimately died by his own hand. Reports describe widespread injuries, a blood soaked scene, and authorities rushing a special coroner to assess the aftermath. The family, from Springbrook, had recently faced financial strain and personal turmoil before the tragedy. The wife and children survived, with several injured, and plans emerged to ship survivors to Ohio for tutoring as relatives in Ohio were notified.
