Forbes North Dakota new town on Great Northern extension
A fifteen mile extension of the Great Northern Railway from Ellendale North Dakota will establish a new town named Forbes at the southeast corner of section 38 township 129 range 65. First lot sale is September 19 at Ellendale, with a ground show on Sept 17 and 18. Regular train service expected by October 15 and multiple elevators planned to handle crops. Opportunities include hotels stores and livery stables. Mr D N Tallman of the Dakota Development Co will provide more sale details.
