Flax Seed and Pro Ducts in Northwest Crop Outlook
The article urges northwest farmers, especially North Dakota, to save the flax seed crop by using pure clean seed, seed disinfection, proper rotations, and soil health measures. It notes flax as a historic money maker, warns of root diseases, and offers a North Dakota Experiment Station bureau to provide seedsmen lists and seed disinfection guidance to growers who join the pure seed and pure soil effort. It invites farmers to join, submit names, and request seed or seed sales, with possible crop inspection.
