The Norwegian residents of Bottineau county North Dakota sent petitions for recognizing Norway s independent government to President in Oyster Bay via Senator Hansbrough who supports the cause. He noted July North Dakota gathering and expects U S recognition when Norway s representatives present themselves. Hansbrough will travel from Atlantic City to North Dakota late October with Grand Forks as his state HQ.
