The Agricultural Association reports a $800 debt from last year’s fair with expenses exceeding $3000 and receipts about $2200. An assessment of 25 percent of subscribed stock was levied to pay debts, with most of the first and some of the second assessments paid. The board notes strong finances overall and a successful fair, while audits are planned for October 31 1847. Trustee Fisher and others presented expenditures and election results from the recent city votes.
