Pioneer Resident Mrs Haley Dies After Long Illness
Mrs. Caroline E Pette Haley a pioneer resident of Devils Lake since 1882 died at 1130 PM Saturday after a prolonged illness. Born in Decatur New York she moved with her family to Blooming Prairie Minnesota before settling in Devils Lake. Survived by her husband Peter and children Nellie and Clarence the funeral was held at the Methodist church with Rev T A Olsen officiating.
