Minot Banker Indicted Over Bank Faults and Misuse
J. A. Erickson cashier of the Minot National Bank, which closed weeks ago, faced two federal indictments in Fargo. One accuses him of making false reports to the comptroller and aiding and abetting, the other of abstraction and misapplication of bank funds totaling 15 000 dollars. He pleaded guilty to both charges, with a possible five to ten year prison term and fines. Unforeseen office work delayed a farmers outreach by the Inter-Ocean correspondent, but plans to resume are hoped soon.
