Thanksgiving Union Services Held at Presbyterian Church
Union services were held in the Presbyterian church on Thanksgiving morning at 11 o’clock. Rev. Reese preached an able sermon to a large congregation. A man named Anderson, who failed to register his appeal, drank too much and was jailed for drunk and disorderly conduct, then escaped by prying the cell door. Next Wednesday the Card and Fenwick Repertoire company opens a two night engagement in Devils Lake open house.

R L Metcalf an elevator operator at Lakota died suddenly Wednesday morning of heart failure while working. he collapsed at 10 20 and died en route to his home after seeking his mother’s help with medical aid arriving too late.
