Grand Forks Land Office Abolished

Farmers Road Opened With Big Hansboro Excursion

Rev Esterbrook Receives Promising Devils Lake Assignment
At the annual Methodist conference in Fargo Bishop Warren presided and announced Rev C H Easterbrook’s move from Lisbon to Devils Lake. Under his three years at Lisbon church property rose from 1500 to 1000 with debt largely cleared. membership grew from 80 to 140 and a mission fund of 300 was raised. The congregation increased from 50 to 150 on average. The church building was replaced after selling the old to Baptists. Easterbrook’s departure will be felt but his work is praised and community support vows continued effort in Devils Lake.
