Accident on Farm Claims Young Hunter
A distressing accident occurred on Jacob Brehm’s farm six miles northwest of Churles Ferry. Rudolph Engleborn, about 14, was hunting gophers with a companion when he was accidentally shot in the abdomen and died shortly after. He was a bright, popular boy, deeply mourned by all who knew him.
