Memorial Day Observance At Devils Lake Post
Special Order from General Crook Post 88 Nebraska Territory calls for a May 30 1902 Memorial Day observance honoring fallen comrades. A service at 11 am May 25 includes attendance by W R C and Company D with a parade from the courthouse to the M E Church. Comrades urged to lay aside business and join in remembrance and civic unity.
Decoration Day Parade Program Highlights and Route
The program outlines a Decoration Day parade forming at 10 a m on Fifth street with line of march along Arnold avenue Fourth street Hill avenue Sixth street to the cemetery then returning to Fifth street.
