Flower Carnival Delights Devils Lake Audiences
The Flower carnival drew large crowds from Devils Lake and nearby towns to the armory on Friday and Saturday. Beautiful fairies, Miss Katherine Logswell, Miss Lucile Trumble, and Miss Ethel Fitzgerald featured in a wedding scene, dances, and an opera scene with floral themes and choral music. The evening showcased lavish costumes, a fairy-tland stage, and multiple encore performances ending with a dazzling flower pageant.
