Oswald Trial Testimony Recalls Fracas at Devils Lake Saloon

The Oswald case unfolds with Daniel Blue recalling Dec 31 1885 at Boeing and Doyles. Oswald and Cowan clashed amid a barroom fight ending with Oswald firing several shots and McWeeney dying. Witnesses describe blows, a knife, a revolver, and Oswald’s warning to McWeeney as he fired. Cross examinations and sheriff’s testimony follow as the court adjourns to Saturday.
