Weather Station At Devils Lake Funded
Senator Hansbrough secured 5000 dollars in the agricultural bill for a Devils Lake weather bureau station. Three thousand will buy a building and instruments while 2000 covers forecaster salary. The office will later hire from civil service among eligible names.

Drawing Exhibit Drawn from Public Schools Draws Attention
A spring meeting of the Drawing Teachers association in Minneapolis showcased a large public school drawing exhibit. It traveled in three sections to various regions with North Dakota teachers in charge. Miss Bissill secured it for Devils Lake and invites teachers and locals to view it at the assembly hall from March 28 to March 30. Also noted: the death of editor C. E. Fox of the Larimore Pioneer at 28, and the death of Wellington Irish’s wife in California, plus advertised letters and local sale notices and a farm-for-sale notice in Ontario township North Dakota.
