J J Hill to transport 50 Ramsey county farmers to the Agricultural College at Fargo on July 18 free round trip for first 50 applicants. Great Northern Plans Massive Devils Lake Upgrades
The Great Northern announces extensive improvements at Devils Lake including two 8,000 foot side tracks and a 5,000 foot lead track. A 3,000 foot industrial track for elevators and new stockyards are planned with a new 20 pocket coal chute and water tank. Elevators move north of the track east of the freight depot and passenger station relocation to a point west of the old depot.
