North Dakota Chautauqua Opens Beside Devils Lake
The 1904 North Dakota Chautauqua Association promotes a season of music art lectures and large open-air entertainment on Devils Lake. Facilities include a 4000-seat auditorium, electric bathing tank, boating by Capt E E Heerman, and a 100 acre wooded grounds offering camp life and healthful recreation for farmers and families.

A fine two track bowling alley was erected last year with facilities for healthful recreation. Certain hours will be set aside for ladies to have exclusive use. Bowling teams from the state are invited to attend and compete for first place at the alley.
Verons Sisters Concert Company at Chautauqua Benefiting Rail Fare
Great Northern Railroad offers North Dakota to Devils Lake tickets July 2 to July 24 at one third fare with certificate. Chautauqua secretary countersigns for return at one third, with extension option by paying the difference. Mendelssohn Quartet July 10 16 and Herbert Raymont featured. Verons Sisters combine beauty and talent in a high grade program for Lyceum audiences.
