Devils Lake High School Marks Graduation Ceremony

The Devils Lake High School closed the year with a graduation of twenty seniors. The opera house program featured singers, piano solos, and speeches by Miss Mary Burke and others. Governor Burke’s niece delivered the Salutatory, while Frank Palmer spoke on American Indian policy and women’s education. A separate eighth grade graduation of 38 students took place in the high school assembly room with diplomas awarded by faculty.

Chorus Refuses to Perform Over Attorney Cuthbert Controversy

Two Young Men Drown in Hartley Canoying Accident
