Ramsey county North Dakota officials opened bids for three steel bridges on sections 14 23 1 24 foot spans and 5 8 block and 33 34 in townships 157 156 with range 60 61 62. Bids from King W S Hewett Minneapolis Dibley Robinson totaled 182 466 00 and 82 146 00. The board rejected all bids and ordered refunds.

Farmers' Excursion To Fargo Agricultural College
President Worst of Fargo Agricultural College selects 50 farmers from Devils Lake Grand Harbor and surrounding areas for a free Great Northern excursion to inspect the college. Eligible applicants must not have attended previous excursions. Inter-Ocean will accept names, first 30 booked, with transportation arranged by Mr Worst. Date in late July to be announced.

Public auction at John W. Maher’s office sold most Chautauqua privileges except the check stand bakery and laundry. Total receipts were 1635 dollars with individual sales including hotel rights to H L Wineman for 601, refreshment and groceries to F W Mann for 455, and bath house to W H Walke for 125.

Old Settlers Pioneer Reunion At Devils Lake
The second annual reunion of Devil s Lake region pioneers will be held July 2 at the Chautauqua grounds by the lake. Attendance is expected to exceed last year s two thousand. barbecue dinner, music, speaking and an experience meeting are planned with Governor White and Congressman Marshall among expected attendees.
