Assessment Revisions Move To Equalize County Values
The board adjourned then reconvened to adjust district and real estate assessments. Proposals include raising or lowering values for cattle, mules, sheep, hogs, and stock, plus city lots in Devils Lake by up to 20 percent. Lands in multiple townships were increased or decreased, with a 2 mill county tax levy and 81 poll tax for school funding.
