The third day opened with seven entries in the 2:45 pace or trot led by Riley Wilkes and Lady M among strong favorites. Don Quixote and Minnie E contested the free-for-all trot with Don Quixote briefly leading before breaking near the wire, Minnie E winning. multiple heats followed with Riley Wilkes, Lady M, Gordon V, Bemidji Bell, and Beatrice S placing in various legs. A late 54 mile running race saw Don Quixote and Kitzwilks battle to a tight finish with Don Quixote taking first. other heats saw Assessor win the mile and a half events as excitement rode through the day.
