Prof. C. B. Waldron of the agricultural college says a greenish worm now seen from the Missouri slope to Williston feeds on weeds rather than grain. Found in Bowman Hettinger and Williams counties, it targets Russian thistle and rag weed and may move to flax then wheat if weeds vanish. The worm resembles the army worm and could aid farmers if it stays on weeds.
