Trial this week resulted in a second degree murder verdict for Isadore Homa in the death of Patpl Adama near Tokio. Elegant new store opens with five floors of furniture
Last Saturday E W Gilbertson formally opened a brick four story furniture house on Fourth street. A large crowd toured the basement to the third floor, the building boasts steel ceilings and prism glass lighting. The basement houses a morgue style display for undertaking goods and packing surplus stock fills the space. The first floor showcases parlor dining and bedroom sets in metal, oak, and various woods, arranged to ease viewing through glass and display cases.

Ninety Days in County Jail for Two Bootleggers
Monday Judge J F Cowan set a hearing for two city jail inmates charged with bootlegging. A B Larson and James McCormick were arraigned and pled guilty. Each received ninety days in jail, a $500 fine, and an additional day in jail if the fine remains unpaid.
