Bridge at Bolgarde crossing preferred by county board

The county board met in special session chaired by Rumney to decide on a bridge at Freshwater inlet near Morris and another at Bolgarde crossing. Petitioners seek two crossings, with 16 and 21 signatures, while Judge O'Brien urged surveyor examination of both points. Budde offered grading at Bolgarde for 100 dollars, later 900, with a 3 foot by 15 foot grade. The board located the Bolgarde bridge, noting inlet widths of 280 and 410 feet, with estimated grading under 2000 dollars.
