In a summer incident near McHeary county Hill offered Peterson 25 dollars to settle a mistaken crop damage after driving through a wheat field to avoid a slough. Peterson refused, cut tires of Hill's machine, and Hill was arrested and bound over to district court.
Doran of Crystal North Dakota defeated Joe Fraction of La Crosse Wisconsin at the Grand Opera House. Doran won the first fall by full Nelson and double bar hold in 39 minutes 5 seconds. The second fall came in 14 minutes 20 seconds with a half Nelson. Crowd described as poor and ring conditions poor. Referee McGurrin of Crary challenged the winner, Doran, to weigh 188 pounds.
A new civil action involving Albert and Mrs. Wagner arises in Ramsey county after a prior Nelson county divorce case. The dispute centers on a $2,000 bank deposit pledged to restrain past mistreatment claims and later transferred to Albert’s brother Charles.
