James Cody will soon complete a new livery barn in Hampden. T A Kendall of Minneapolis is now cashier of Hampden State Bank, formerly Northfield State Bank. The Hawkinson Lumber Company delivered first lumber via the new road and railroad amenities revive village life. Several disturbances of the Bence and runks noted as the railroad brings activity. The town anticipates becoming an important business center soon.
