Very Successful Farmer Institute Fosters Modern Methods
The Fargo area institute opened Friday amid bad weather and drew strong farmer attendance. Prof. Kauffman and Prof. Shepperd highlighted the experimental farm at Fargo, its six hundred small farms in one, and urged farmers to embrace modern cultivation, stock methods, and corn as a key crop. Prof. Worst advocated broad education for agriculture and urged farmers to value education and science alongside labor.
