Miss Sibelle Berlin delivering mail on a Dunseith Turtle Mountain route faced two men who halted her by pulling at the reins and dragging a helper. The horse bolted, one assailant tripped and escaped. Berlin reached the post office safely and reported the attack with no clues yet found.
Washington correspondent reports North Dakota Senators McCumber and another returning to the capital. The pension committee chair remains with McCumber as talks on Indian affairs and grain inspection proceed amid a busy, short session.
