A three day stock show at Devils Lake July 1 2 and 3 proved a success though rainstorms reduced local attendance. Organizers spent about 1700 on buildings and purses while receipts reached 1300 with 800 in cash subscriptions and 430 for ground privileges. Indebtedness runs around 800 and stock assessments may cover the deficit. Grand Forks and Benson Minnesota exhibitors shared premium money. local turnout was shy but showed strong potential for next year. The track was praised as the best in North Dakota and organizers plan a combined agricultural fair after nearby exhibitions.
