Local Union of Equity Formed at Minnewaukan
An organizing meeting April 17 at iStenseth's school led to the creation of a Local Union of the American Society of Equity in North America with over twenty charter members. Officers include County Commissioner Christian Anderson as president and Frank Fuller as secretary. A June 17 meeting and picnic follow, with plans to organize Stevens, Hope, Ontario, Odessa, Morris, North Minnewaukan, and Lake. The movement seeks nationwide farmer unity, crop reporting, and fair prices through a National Union headquartered in Indianapolis.
