Time's Hour Glass: Sylvester Flumerfelt Dies at 88
Sylvester Flumerfelt aged 88 years 11 months seven days died at his home Sunday in this city and was buried from St Joseph church Tuesday afternoon. Born near Toronto Canada April 26 1816 he moved to North Dakota in 1883 near this city where he resided until death. He leaves five sons William John James Albert Sylvester and three daughters Mrs Jaeley Mrs Peter Kenedy and Mrs Caldey. He lived through much of a century helping shape the west and was known as a quiet man of deeds.
