Niceville Well Problems Persist
Niceville's Cedar Street well, upgraded and reactivated, again fails state water quality tests. City officials suspect a cracked casing after a wastewater pipe burst, risking drilling a new well at an estimated cost of about 150000 dollars. Engineers will assess the casing and repairs or replacement may be needed.
