Plans To Parcel Walton Land Draw Concern From State
State officials worry selling 21 000 acres in South Walton to multiple buyers could hinder growth regulation. The Development Group Inc plans to split the property bought from St Joe Paper Co for about 242 million dollars, though development plans for a Six Flags type park airport and resorts still exist. State officials say large scale plans require regional impact reviews regardless of developer, and splitting parcels could reduce state control while the company counters local governments can handle future growth.

The victim, a white male in his 20s, 6 feet tall, 145 pounds with blond hair and moustache, remains unidentified. A second motorcycle prints clue and a burned gas tank note complicate the case.
