Big Blue Marlin Bites on Melanie Dawn Off Destin
Capt. Tommy Klosterman’s Melanie Dawn netted a first ever Blue Marlin for the boat after an overnight bottom trip out of Destin. Angler James Meigs, birthday celebrant, fought a 435 pound marlin for 1 hour 15 minutes before boating. Other boats like Restless Winds and Breakaway reported sizable Red Snapper, Amberjack, Grouper, Wahoo, and Scamp catches. More trips and strong yields noted from Louisiana Farm Bureau crew aboard Santana and Huntsville pair on Phoenix.
