Waking The Dead Review Sees Intrigue In A Disappointing Novel
David Walton reviews Scott Spencer's fourth novel Waking The Dead, noting its intriguing premise of a dead lover possibly returning. The piece contrasts it with Spencer’s acclaimed Endless Love, praises the author’s vivid imagery and unsettling character study, and questions whether the central mystery truly pays off. It suggests fans of Spencer should compare the two works and hints that the book remains politically insightful despite its flaws.
