Missing In Action honors brother of Destin resident
Ham Palmgren of Destin received the bronze MIA medal at Eglin Air Force Base for Col. Edwin G. Palmgren. The 41 year old pilot disappeared over Cambodia in 1968 during an F-111 mission. Palmgren’s family recalls his service in the Navy, Korea, and the Thunderbirds, and notes ongoing U S efforts to account for MIAs.
