Stringer Nell Stringer an independent BeautiControl consultant based in Dallas just returned from BeautiControl's annual Celebration convention at the Registry Hotel in Dallas. The event highlighted color analysis training product development and selling techniques with workshops on nutrition stress coping and goal-setting plus a Casual Corner fashion show. Jinger Heath chairwoman spoke while Stringer offered clients a program featuring free color analysis and a complimentary facial and makeover using BeautiControl skin care and color coded makeup.
American Legion Post 296 Tuesday darts event on Oct 9 drew a large crowd. Shooters reaching a hundred include Gus Zollner Ron Powers Ted Santucci Dave Collins Charles Criss. Prize winners were Powers first Criss second Linsey Riley third. Ladies Auxiliary served frankfurter stew salad French bread pudding to 34 Senior Citizens and guests.
