Drowning Victim Dies Of Natural Causes
Okaloosa County Medical Examiner Dr. Edmund Kielman says the death of 19 year old Christopher Brannon at a Destin beach was due to natural causes, not drowning. Autopsy found kidney cysts and an enlarged heart with a ruptured artery causing instant collapse. Brannon, a Texas A&M student visiting his father’s Gulf Terrace condo, was pronounced dead after EMS responding to a near 5 p.m. May 14 incident. His hometown is Germantown, Tennessee.
