Scullion Honored as Destin Station Passes Command

Chief Joe Scullion formally relinquished command of the Destin Coast Guard Station to Senior Chief Glenn Francis after three years as Officer In Charge. He received a Letter of Commendation for leadership, rescue and law enforcement successes, including coordinating the Miss Kathy search, restoring the 44-foot MLB, and improving crew readiness.
